Harry checks out a manual transmission converted BMW E46 M3 CSL on UK roads. The answer is 'yes'.
I haven't posted my own content for some time now; work and life has lead to me primarily posting recaps for F1 videos that I really like. Haven't had a car build topic to share in sometime, just maintaining my stuff with occasional Instagram posts (@sandlock). For the ROTL regulars, just know that the faded red E30 is still around and a lil rusty; I'll be fixing it as soon as I'm able to. All this time I've been working on other things, for the betterment of myself and my family in general. It's not all boring though thankfully -- this post was great as I've been hunting for a perfect dark silver E46 M3 ZCP for multiple years now, albeit without the funds to pursue the level of example that I really want. More recently, I've had to defer this search a bit longer as I've collected a newer BMW (with a similar ethos) for my stable. While I'm enjoying the new car, it's dope so far, I haven't taken my eye off the E46 M3 prize -- it may just take a couple years to get there depending on the circumstances. That said, the dream is to have a ZCP that I can turn into a CSL tribute, within reason. Getting OEM CSL body panels isn't possible, but there are some great carbon fiber manufacturers out there filling in for that gap in the market. So yea..carbon airbox, CSL ECU/tune, CSL front bumper, rear diffuser and rear trunk; can't wait. This kind of vid always gets me excited and helps keeps my target from wavering to a few other tasty analogue cars which are also on my affordable wish list. Anyways, stay tuned and wish me luck.
