On this episode of Tuned Matt drives a familiarly modified coupe, for those of us close to the VAG scene in the US; an APR Stage 3 tuned Audi TT RS. This car came to the US primarily based on a FB marketing campaign where hundreds of thousands of people asked for it to come here. It arrived at our shores last year, but with one catch; no DSG equipped cars with launch control, only manual transmissions. While I'm typically anti-two pedal cars the use of launch control, with the European-only DSG TT RS, shaves its sprint times to that of many entry-level supercars. That and the automated dual-clutch automatic transmission is arguably the best automotive innovation of the last decade. Ah well, can't win em all.
