Welp, things are pretty much sown up -- Merc AMG took their sixth consecutive Constructors Championship in a row, since the start of the turbo-hybrid era in 2014, as well as all six Drivers Championship's even though that hasn't officially been decided upon yet. Bottas took the win in Suzuka despite Ferrari still being the fastest and Red Bull Honda hoping that the new spec power upgrade was going to put them at the front. Hamilton took 3rd after team strategy betting on a one stop not being good by the end of the race; while he wasn't pleased with not topping Vettel for second or Bottas for first, he's another step close to taking his sixth championship -- it's between him and Bottas now. Merc is trying to claw back some performance from Ferrari heading into 2020, but time will tell if that'll be possible. In the meantime we're headed to Mexico; Leclerc is trying to take control of Ferrari, Vettel is trying to stay the clear number one, Mclaren is looking to finish strong and maintain fourth in the constructors take best of the rest, Albon is still interviewing for a job on the main Red Bull team for next year and Hulkenberg is still looking for a 2020 drive. This weekend should be another entertaining race; hopefully Perez can give him home fans some excitement to cheer for.
Enjoy your motorsport weekends.
