 F1 is back at it, following quite an interesting weekend in Sochi. Bottas followed up his first pole position, at the previous race, with his first F1 victory. Ferrari was stronger than ever, Vettel taking pole finishing second after attempting to chase Bottas down late, Kimi driving a solid race and finishing 3rd. Meanwhile Hamilton and Petronas Mercedes were on the back foot given the ultrasoft tire, while having great durability, had a very touchy operating window which seemed to be much hard for the Mercs to capitalize on. This is one of the reasons Hamilton qualified in 4th, kicking him out of Saturday's driver interviews for the first time in quite a while. Ferrari is still superior on tires thus far and the advantage is definitely showing itself. Despite Merc's troubles, the podium result in Russia puts them in the Constructor's Championship point lead by 1 over Ferrari. We'll see what Mercedes does to close the gap with the two weeks off, now arriving in the start of European racing. McLaren is still languishing, Alonso DNF'ing once again, Force India still strong in the mid-pack and Red Bull trying to put things together, but Ricciardo still having some poor fortune. Stroll continued his streak of getting hit by another driver in a race and Massa is still putting in solid performances in his Williams, taking 8th. Sainz is still the more consistent of the Toro Rosso duo, taking 9th. With the smoke cleared Vettel still holds the Driver's Championship lead; standings are as follows: Vettel, Hamilton (-13), Bottas (-23), Raikkonen (-37), Verstappen (-51).
