We have a loaded weekend ahead of us; some of y'all will be planning for Ocean City next weekend in the latest installation of the 'WTF is H2oi this year?' saga, and the rest of you will be trying to get away from the fam' to enjoy some entertainment via flatscreen and garage. For those of you who have been looking forward to this weeks F1 race after the Italian Grand Prix, you're in for a treat. We've arrived at F1's single night race of the year in one of the most spectacular street-course landscapes in the world; downtown Singapore. After the boner Grosjean pulled before Italy, he was suspended a single race, which made things interesting. Not because he was in contention for a title shot, but because it changed the severity with which the stewards drop the hammer on driver error that cost other drivers points. This lead to a very interesting qualifying session, where Force India showed up in the top four again this season, and Alonzo couldn't find a way to top his Q1 lap time in Q3, putting him in 10th spot. Hams took pole and rode it out to victory, but that wasn't the most surprising thing; it was the DNF's. Vettel, who took advantage of Grosjeans' game of dominoes had another engine related failure causing him to pull over (via the screams over the radio by his lead engineer might I add). After car troubles of his own, Webber spun out late, encouraging the decision to retire his RB26 as well. This changes the Manufacturers' Championship chase immensely. McLaren Mercedes would've fully capitalized, but once again both drivers couldn't do well in the same race; Button snake bitten once again. Kimi is consistent as ever, and even Shuey picked up points. And the belle of the ball was Sergio Perez, running a one stop strategy, the young phenom and potential 2013 Ferrari driver found all kinds of speed through two sets of Pirelli's in Monza; he passed both Alonzo and Massa on the way to the second spot on the podium. So how do things shake out? Raikkonen, Vettel and Hamilton are all within two points of each other, fighting for second place behind Alonzo. This should be quite the race.
Keep an eye out for new episodes of Wheeler Dealers on Wednesday nights, Barrett-Jackson auctions on thurs-sat and surprisingly WTCC action from Sonoma on Sunday night. Enjoy your weekends.

Motorsport Feature: Truth in 24 II: Every Second Counts
Every now and then someone in the media department of a major automaker gets it right. In this case Audi flipped the bandwidth bill to host the movie showcasing the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans; Truth in 24 II. This special has aired on cable previously, but I rather hope on youtube than jam my DVR up with things that should be on the shelf in blu-ray. This won't be a short one, so don't watch this at work! Enjoy.

Baltimore Grand Prix: Sneak Peek #1
Working through the clips this weekend, I figured this would be a good place to start. Finding locations to get good shots was the name of the game, and thankfully this location worked out well on Friday as by Sat there was an additional fence up. This a look at Friday's ALMS practice before the Round 8 Race the following afternoon.
