I hope you folks enjoyed the taste we got of motorsports last weekend, because there's a drought until mid-March. Good news is, February is a short month. Enjoy the weekend all, and use some of this freakish weather to work on your car. I fixed my vapor barriers yesterday, in 60 degrees of sunshine before work, and plan on investigating my sunroof drainage in a day or so. May even wash that sumbtch.

As much as newer VW's have generally turned me off as the years have passed along, I enjoy the older models even more so now. This vid does a pretty good job of explaining why. You can acquire a car for any number of reasons, but the less complicated it is to enjoy the more fun it is.

A great weekend of racing wrapped in Daytona Florida yesterday afternoon, resulting in some pretty significant accomplishments across the field of teams, participants, engine and prototype manufacturers.
